Executive Coaching

I am an Executive Coach with a focus on career navigation/reinvention and leadership development.  I contract directly with individuals as well as with companies looking to support their leaders and staff.  I contract by the hour or, more commonly, for a series of sessions at a discounted hourly rate.

Please see my Home Page, About and Coaching Approach for more detail on my Executive Coaching practice.

Engagements may last from a handful of sessions to an ongoing, recurring relationship depending on your needs, accomplishments and goals.

Teaching and Speaking

I am available for lectures and ½ day, full-day and multi-day workshops on career management and leadership development.  I have spoken and taught on topics including but not limited to:

  • Career planning

  • Finding one’s career passion

  • Risk-taking and decision-making

  • Building relationships and mentoring

  • Managing up

  • Navigating personal and career change

  • Climbing the corporate ladder.

Recently I taught a career development course titled "Google Leaders on Managing Your Career" for Stanford University's Continuing Studies Program.  This course was informed by the content of more than 85 interviews on career management that I held with Google's senior managers and leaders over a one-year period.

The following is an excerpt from a recommendation for that course:

“Tracy’s clear and systematic ability to provide guidance about how to plan my career and to evaluate potential paths to succeed made this class very valuable for me. Additionally, his class syllabus was very comprehensive and effective. The guest speakers through his network strengthened his points with their real time experiences. Every week, he could open up a discussion and we had a chance to ask guest speakers what they had done in a particular situation and how they acted. His interactive design of this class was very engaging and the class participants could easily relate their challenges, opinions with the guest speaker’s perspective.

I would definitely recommend his career classes to further learn about your career options and think about what you want from your career.”
